Kyoto Group aims to revolutionise industrial process heat and reduce CO₂ emissions. /p h3About the role /h3 pAs a Senior Field Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and optimized operation of Kyoto Group’s Heatcube installations across multiple customer sites. Acting as the operational link between customers, service partners, and internal teams, you will drive asset performance, operational excellence, and safety while supporting the commissioning and scale‑up of new installations. This is a hands‑on, international role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical expertise, problem‑solving, and field leadership. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liInstallations, promoting a proactive safety culture and adherence to Kyoto's HSE standards, regulatory requirements, and contractual commitments. /li liMonitor and optimize system performance through remote and on‑site operational support, leveraging SCADA systems, data analysis, and technical expertise to maximize uptime, efficiency, and reliability. /li liPerform advanced troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and root cause analysis across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and process systems, implementing corrective and preventive actions to improve asset performance. /li liCoordinate field operations, maintenance activities, inspections, and emergency response efforts in collaboration with customers, contractors, and service partners to ensure effective and timely issue resolution. /li liAct as Kyoto's technical representative on‑site, providing training, mentoring, and operational guidance while developing and maintaining operating procedures, maintenance instructions, and best practices. /li liSupport the commissioning, start‑up, and operational handover of new Heatcube installations, ensuring a smooth transition to safe, stable, and optimized operation. /li /ul h3Required skills experiences /h3 ul liTechnical education or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Marine, Energy Engineering, or a related discipline. /li liSeveral years of hands‑on experience operating, maintaining, or troubleshooting industrial systems within sectors such as thermal energy, power generation, offshore, marine, or process industries. /li liStrong technical understanding of industrial equipment and processes, with the ability to diagnose and resolve operational issues across mechanical, electrical, and control systems. /li liExperience working with SCADA, DCS, or similar monitoring and control systems to support safe and efficient operations. /li liProven track record in preventive maintenance, reliability improvement, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. /li liSolid understanding of industrial safety, HSE requirements, and risk management practices. /li liExperience leading, training, or supporting operators, technicians, contractors, or service partners in the field. /li liFamiliarity with thermal energy storage, molten salt systems, or related industrial heat technologies is an advantage. /li liFluent in English and comfortable working in an international environment. /li /ul h3Who are you? /h3 ul liComfortable with regular international travel and extended periods on‑site when required. /li liStrong situational awareness and the ability to make sound decisions under operational pressure. /li liSelf‑driven and accountable, with a hands‑on approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement. /li liMotivated by the opportunity to accelerate industrial decarbonization and contribute to the energy transition. /li /ul h3About the team /h3 pOur mission is ambitious and achieving it depends on the people behind it.
