Role description: We are looking for a Senior Business Central Developer with a strong project-focused mindset to join our Group ERP team and play a key role in shaping our global ERP landscape. In this role, you will combine hands‑on AL/C‑AL development with process and business consulting, contributing to the design, build, and continuous evolution of a group‑wide Business Central solution used across multiple legal entities. You will work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure that business processes, master data models, security, and extensions are scalable, robust, and aligned with global standards. You will be part of a collaborative, international environment where your expertise will directly influence how the organization operates at scale. Adhering to enterprise governance, group guidelines, and documentation standards is essential, as is the opportunity to help define and improve them. Key tasks & responsibilities: Implement features across BC standard modules (Finance Management, Sales, Purchase, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Projects) and tailor them via extensions while keeping the solution upgradable. Integrate and automate using Power Platform / Power Automate where appropriate (e.g., orchestration, notifications, approvals). Produce clear technical designs, test cases, deployment instructions, and user documentation; keep them current through release cycles. Security & Permissions Configure and validate security filters and permission sets; collaborate with admins to ensure role-based access, segregation of duties, and compliant user provisioning across environments and scheduled updates. Demonstrate a strategic mindset to validate assumptions and feasibility; challenge workflows to ensure ERP mapping aligns with group processes and reporting needs. Translate business requirements into end‑to‑end solutions that consider global/group impact across multiple entities. Prioritize critical change requests, drive grooming, and maintain transparent progress tracking through sprint ceremonies and SteCo/PMO touchpoints. Support sandbox → test → production release management in line with BC update cycles and enterprise deployment practices. Facilitate workshops, demos, and training; communicate clearly in English (fluent, oral and written) with stakeholders at all levels. Contribute to knowledge sharing within the Group ERP and Business Central communities. Qualifications & Competencies: To be successful in this role you will have: • Experience with master data governance (customers, vendors, items, variants, dimensions) and MDMS or similar replication frameworks; familiarity with Core Template concepts., • Knowledge of manufacturing operations (production orders, routings, BOMs), warehouse operations (locations, bins, picks/put‑aways), and project accounting., • CI/CD practices (Git, build pipelines), code review, and static analysis for AL., • Experience in enterprise governance and change control aligned with Group guidelines., • Expertise in AL (and C/AL for legacy) and Visual Studio Code; strong debugging, performance tuning, and test automation skills., • Hands on experience in BC standard modules: Finance, Sales, Purchase, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Projects; solid understanding of processes, features, and extensions., • Practical knowledge of security filters and permission sets; experience collaborating with admins on role design and environment governance., • Power Platform / Power Automate expertise for orchestration and integration., • Demonstrated analytical capability to assess third party solutions and integration patterns., • Fluent English and spanish, oral and written., • Strategic & analytical thinking, • Communication & planning: structure plans, set expectations, and keep stakeholders aligned as priorities evolve., • Organization & tracking: run effective meetings, maintain progress artifacts, and ensure ticket/CR traceability in code.
