For more information, visit SolomonEdwards Position Summary: We are seeking a Continuous Improvement Consultant to join a leading global manufacturing organization with operations across North America, Europe, and other international markets. This senior-level consulting role will lead enterprise-wide continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging Lean Six Sigma methodologies, data analytics, and operational excellence strategies to drive measurable business results, improve productivity, and reduce process variation across multiple sites. Essential Duties: • Lead cross-functional global teams through the DMAIC cycle to identify non-value-added activities, eliminate waste, and evaluate opportunities for process improvement., • Support productivity improvement initiatives and assist sites in achieving annual performance objectives., • Drive a culture of data-based decision-making across both transactional and manufacturing processes., • Analyze data to identify trends, uncover root causes, and recommend predictive and preventive actions to improve reliability and reduce process variation., • Help establish and sustain a culture of continuous improvement across global operations., • Provide training and coaching on data analysis, Lean methodologies, and Six Sigma tools., • Develop and implement sustainability plans to ensure improvements are embedded into day-to-day operations., • Lead and support the definition, development, and implementation of performance improvement strategies across multiple locations., • Collaborate with and influence senior leadership on improvement opportunities, translating business objectives into actionable project deliverables., • Support and lead digitalization and automation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, predictive maintenance, and process performance., • Drive the standardization, implementation, and communication of organizational best practices., • Lead the implementation of performance management frameworks, including the development and tracking of leading and lagging key performance indicators (KPIs). Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Operations Management, or a related technical discipline., • Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt or Master Black Belt strongly preferred., • 10–20 years of experience in manufacturing environments applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies., • Demonstrated success leading continuous improvement initiatives across multiple locations., • Experience implementing productivity improvement programs and performance management frameworks., • Experience supporting operational excellence, reliability, and process optimization initiatives. Skills and Job-Specific Competencies: • Expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles, methodologies, and improvement tools., • Proficiency in Six Sigma methodologies, statistical analysis, and DMAIC project execution., • Experience conducting reliability and failure analysis, including Weibull analysis., • Ability to develop, monitor, and optimize Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)., • Strong data analytics, root cause analysis, and problem-solving capabilities., • Knowledge of process automation, digital transformation, and operational technology initiatives., • Proven ability to design and deploy continuous improvement strategies across operations., • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence executive stakeholders., • Strong leadership, coaching, and team facilitation capabilities., • Strategic thinking with advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills., • Expertise in change management and driving organizational adoption., • Ability to build effective partnerships and collaborate across cross-functional teams., • Strong project management skills with a demonstrated track record of successful execution and results delivery. Travel Requirements: This role requires occasional domestic and international travel.
