Job Title: HR Advisor Location: Woking - UK, Hybrid (opportunity for remote working with occasional travel to company offices) Reports to: Head of HR - UK Work schedule: Mon – Fri, 37.5 hours per week Who are VitalHub? The Opportunity: The HR Advisor plays a key role in delivering a high‑quality, people‑focused HR service across the organisation. Working closely with the Head of HR, this role provides proactive and responsive support on all aspects of the employee lifecycle. You will lead on day‑to‑day employee relations matters, ensure the smooth operation of core HR processes, support internal and external audit requirements, champion employee wellbeing initiatives, and maintain accurate and efficient HR administration. The ideal candidate will be approachable, supportive and people-focused, with a strong commitment to confidentiality. Your Responsibilities: • Serve as the first point of contact for HR‑related queries and manage the central HR inbox., • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date employee records across all HR systems and databases., • Prepare and issue HR documentation, including employment letters, contractual changes, and routine reports., • Support the review, development, and implementation of HR policies and participate in wider HR projects., • Provide guidance to managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practice., • Assist with the coordination and administration of employee relations processes, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and absence management., • Ensure all HR data is processed and stored in line with GDPR requirements and organisational policies., • Maintain compliant HR documentation and ensure records remain audit‑ready at all times., • Process all elements of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, changes, and leavers, and produce relevant HR reports., • Support internal and external audit activities, including documentation checks, evidence gathering, and completion of follow‑up actions., • Contribute to wellbeing initiatives and direct employees to appropriate support resources., • Help promote and maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture. Essential Experience: • CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience/qualification., • Experience in an HR Advisor or Senior HR Administrator role., • Understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice., • Understanding of GDPR and data protection requirements., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills., • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail., • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information., • Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office.
