Service Engineer Automatic & Industrial Doors Location: Midlands (covering Birmingham, Coventry, Nottingham, Leicester, and surrounding areas) Employment Type: Full-time | Permanent Basic Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum OTE: £60,000+ (with door-to-door pay, overtime, and on-call bonuses) The Opportunity TSM Technical is working on behalf of a well-established service partner in the door systems industry. We're looking for a Service Engineer to cover the Midlands, supporting a growing client base across commercial, retail, and industrial sectors. This is a varied and rewarding role focused on the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of automatic and industrial doors. The position offers long-term career progression, full support from a regional engineering manager, and excellent benefits. Key Responsibilities • Service, repair, and install: Automatic sliding, swing, folding, and revolving doors. Industrial shutters, roller doors, and sectional doors, • Diagnose faults and recommend cost-effective solutions, • Respond to emergency call-outs and breakdowns, • Complete all job reporting using a company-issued iPad, • Follow health & safety procedures and wear full PPE, • Deliver high standards of customer service while on site, • Participate in the on-call rota (approx. 1 in 5/6 weeks)What Youll Need Essential: • Minimum 2 years experience with automatic doors, • EN16005 or BS7036 qualification, • Full UK driving licence, • CSCS card, • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills, • Comfortable with digital reporting (iPad/tablet use) Desirable: • Experience with industrial doors, • IPAF, PASMA, or DHF accreditationPackage & Benefits, • Basic Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum, • On-Call Pay: £175/week + bonuses for call-outs, • Overtime Rates: 1.5x after 5:00 PM; 2x on Sundays & Bank Holidays, • Door-to-Door Pay, • 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays (option to buy extra days), • Company van, tools, iPad, uniform & fuel card provided, • Private medical insurance (option to add family members), • Enhanced pension (3% employee / 6% employer), • Enhanced family leave policies, • Access to a Digital GP, dental & eye care, and counselling services, • Long-term development with ongoing training and supportApply Now If you're an experienced Engineer ready to join a high-performing team with long-term progression opportunities, please contact or get in touch to arrange a confidential chat.
