Join a leading organisation in the nuclear defence industry. Role Overview: The Risk Analyst plays a key role in supporting risk management activities across the project lifecycle. You will be responsible for identifying, analysing, and monitoring risks and opportunities to help ensure programmes remain on track and achieve their objectives. Working within a complex infrastructure environment, you will support the application of risk management processes, tools, and techniques, contributing to effective decision-making across interconnected programmes and projects. Responsibilities: • Support the coordination of monthly risk review meetings, including updating the risk register, capturing actions, and assisting in the production of risk dashboards., • Assist in the identification of risks and opportunities, working with project teams to develop appropriate mitigation and response plans., • Perform risk analysis to ensure risks are clearly defined, appropriately assessed, and consistently recorded., • Monitor and track mitigation actions, ensuring updates are captured and reflected in reporting outputs., • Contribute to QRR activities, including supporting QSRA/QCRA modelling and quarterly SRA/CRA reporting., • Assist in assumptions management and maintain relevant documentation, including NBCC elements of the MDAL., • Provide risk insights through data analysis, highlighting trends, emerging issues, and potential impacts to project timelines and delivery., • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support effective risk management practices., • Ensure adherence to established risk management processes and infrastructure procedures. Requirements: Essential • 2–5 years’ experience in a risk, project controls, or project support role., • Sole UK Citizenship & SC clearance (held or able to obtain prior to starting)., • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify risk trends., • Experience supporting risk analysis within infrastructure or engineering projects., • Good organisational skills and attention to detail., • Experience working with risk registers and reporting tools., • Strong IT skills, including Excel or other data analysis tools., • Experience with quantitative risk analysis tools (e.g., QSRA/QCRA)., • Understanding of risk management within complex or regulated environments., • Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders., • Experience working in a collaborative project environment., • Awareness of industry trends and challenges within infrastructure or nuclear sectors.
