Recruit4staff are representing a well-established engineering business in their search for a Workshop Operative to work in St Helens Job Details: Pay: £13.35 per hour (Attendance bonus available) Hours of Work: Monday – Thursday 7.45 – 4.30, Friday 7.45 – 12.45 Duration: Temp to Perm Benefits: Opportunity for candidate to gain up-skilling training as a Welder Fabricator Job Role: The Workshop Operative will be responsible for inspecting non-mechanical system scaffolding, shoring and groundworks equipment for defects, carrying out repairs including MIG welding, cutting, grinding, and manual or hydraulic straightening. Additional duties include linishing, fettling, heating metal using an oxyacetylene torch, and hammering steel into shape.
