This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a consultative B2B sales environment and enjoys managing key customer relationships while driving new business growth.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs a Key Account Manager, you will take ownership of an established territory, managing key accounts and developing repeat business opportunities across the engineering sector. You will play a key role in driving profitability, increasing market share and supporting the wider commercial objectives of the business.\n\nThis is a consultative, relationship-led sales role requiring strong technical understanding, commercial awareness and the ability to identify customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets within your territory\n\n Manage and develop existing key accounts to maximise repeat business opportunities\n\n Identify and secure new business opportunities through proactive sales activity\n\n Follow up and convert marketing-generated leads\n\n Plan and manage customer site visits effectively\n\n Prepare and submit technical quotations and sales documentation\n\n Work closely with customers and internal technical teams to deliver solutions\n\n Maintain accurate records and pipeline activity through the CRM system\n\n Provide regular sales forecasts, KPI reporting and activity updates\n\n Monitor competitor activity and market trends\n\n Support the Sales Director and wider business where required\n\nAbout You\n\nWe are looking for a motivated and professional sales individual who can combine technical understanding with strong relationship management skills.\n\nYou will ideally have:\n\n A proven track record in engineering or technical sales\n\n Experience within a consultative B2B sales environment\n\n Strong account management and customer relationship skills\n\n A technical mindset with an interest in mechanical products\n\n Excellent communication and organisational abilities\n\n The ability to manage priorities and work towards targets\n\n A professional and proactive approach\n\nWhat’s On Offer\n\n Competitive basic salary\n\n Bonus / commission structure\n\n Company benefits package\n\n Opportunity to join a growing and respected engineering business\n\n * Long-term career development opportunities\n\nIf you are an ambitious sales professional looking for your next challenge within the engineering sector, we would love to hear from you
