We're a long established Italian restaurant in Croydon looking for experienced waiting/bar staff to work full time or part time

Bart & Taylor Limited are a collection of award-winning, premium boutique bars and restaurants, spanning from London to the North of England, Each with their own unique concept and style. We're seeking a reliable, hard working and passionate Sous Chef to join our team at one of South Londons finest restaurants, Fern. Fern is a premium 'all-day' small plates and sharing concept. Open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week. With Breakfast on Saturdays, and a Roast on Sundays. You will be passionate about preparing, cooking, and presenting fresh and seasonal produce. You will be a self-proclaimed ‘foodie and be able to thrive in high pressure environments. As Sous Chef you will be fully responsible for the running of the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence. Fern is located directly opposite East Croydon Station which is ideal for those commuting via train, tram or bus. We provide a clear path of progression to those who desire it through our company pathway program. This role would suit either an experienced Sous Chef, looking for a new and exciting challenge within a small but growing company, or a highly experienced CDP or Senior CDP, looking for an opportunity for progression.

General Manager - South Croydon

We are looking for a creative and passionate General Manager for The Store in South Croydon. We have real ambition to establish The Store as a true neighbourhood restaurant and bar. Leading with a food and drinks menu that celebrates local partnerships, sustainable produce and delicious flavours. We are looking for someone with experience who has a deep understanding of restaurant operations, who can cope well under pressure, and has a hands-on approach to management with a great focus on training and development of their team. You will need to thrive on creating your own revenue opportunities via events, local partnerships and outreach. You will be asked to ensure the smooth running of the business, with financial stability, growth and converted profit, whilst recruiting and developing a strong team allowing constant progression. Reporting directly to the MD, this is a great opportunity for someone who would like to run a business like it’s their own with plenty of opportunity to input and shape the business. Experience with weddings and larger events is a bonus as this will be a big focus for 2025. DETAILS: -Start date - asap -Shift pattern (may change slightly week to week); Monday admin day Thursday -Sunday in service (we are closed Mon-Wed currently) -Pay; up to £42k per annum including tronc (depending on experience) -Be an ambitious individual to establish something really to be proud of.
