Position: Manager Location: Heroica Lounge – The Pizza Bus Reports to: Business Owner Job Overview: The Manager at Heroica Lounge is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, and driving business growth. This role requires strong leadership, financial oversight, and operational expertise to maintain high standards and achieve key business objectives. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operations & Quality Control
• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, hygiene, and health & safety compliance.
• Manage inventory, stock control, and supplier relationships to prevent shortages or excess wastage.
• Ensure smooth operation of dine-in, takeaway, and delivery services. 2. Customer Experience & Reputation Management
• Guarantee an outstanding customer experience, addressing concerns promptly.
• Increase and maintain a 4.9-star rating on Google Reviews through excellent service.
• Monitor and manage ratings on Uber Eats, Deliveroo, and Just Eat to keep them above 4.5 stars.
• Implement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction for both in-house dining and deliveries. 3. Sales Growth & Business Development
• Develop and execute strategies to increase sales and boost customer traffic.
• Implement promotions, marketing campaigns, and events to attract new customers.
• Work on strategies to increase delivery orders and maximize online platform performance. 4. Financial & Inventory Management
• Ensure staff wage expenditure remains below 26% of revenue.
• Monitor costs, track sales performance, and implement cost-control measures.
• Reduce food and ingredient wastage through efficient stock management and portion control. 5. Team Leadership & Staff Development
• Recruit, train, and lead a team to deliver exceptional service.
• Foster a positive work environment, ensuring staff motivation and retention.
• Manage staff schedules to optimize labor costs while maintaining service standards.
• Provide continuous training to improve efficiency and service quality. 6. Compliance & Safety
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health & safety, and employment laws.
• Work towards achieving Living Wage accreditation for the business.
• Maintain records and documentation for audits and inspections. Requirements:
• Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience managing budgets, inventory, and staff scheduling.
• Ability to analyze business performance and implement growth strategies.
• Excellent customer service skills and experience handling complaints.
