We are partnering with a well-established Private Equity backed global organisation to recruit an experienced Finance Business Partner for their growing team in York. This is a pivotal position within the business, offering the opportunity to work closely with both operational and commercial stakeholders to deliver meaningful financial insight, support strategic decision-making, and contribute to the successful execution of key business initiatives. The successful candidate will play a central role in interpreting complex financial information and transforming it into clear, actionable recommendations, establishing themselves as a trusted advisor and valued business partner across the organisation. Key Responsibilities will include: • Partner with operational teams and senior leaders to drive business performance., • Deliver meaningful MI, including detailed financial analysis and variance reporting., • Ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities., • Provide clear financial insight and recommendations to improve profitability., • Support commercial decision-making through robust financial analysis., • Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities across the organisation., • Continuous improvement of financial reporting, processes, and controls, leveraging business intelligence tools. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below qualifications/experience: • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent), • Passionate about partnering with the wider business and making a tangible impact., • Strong track record of delivering value in a commercial environment., • Ability to build trusted relationships and influence decision-making., • Commercially astute, with genuine interest in what drives performance., • Highly analytical, able to turn complex financial data into clear, actionable insights., • Confident communicator, comfortable challenging the status quo., • Advanced Excel and strong financial modelling skills., • Continuous improvement mindset to everything you do.
