You'll join a high-performing European finance hub supporting multiple countries, partnering with experts across different locations, shared services, tax, treasury, and audit. Your work will directly shape the accuracy, integrity, and insight behind financial reporting for a portfolio of legal entities across the region.This isn't just month-end. It's the engine room of a global organisation. Why this role matters You'll be the go-to specialist responsible for the full spectrum of legal entity accounting. From closing activities to statutory support, from fixed assets to inventory, from payroll accounting to indirect tax-you'll have your hands on the numbers that drive decisions, compliance, and performance.You'll work in a collaborative, international environment where precision, curiosity, and continuous improvement are genuinely valued.What you'll be doingFinancial & Statutory Reporting • Prepare P&L and balance sheet reporting, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery, • Support statutory requirements through parallel GAAP accounting, • Run pre-close checks, identify issues, and post corrections, • Prepare and post accruals and journal entries, • Provide core inputs for monthly cash forecasting, • Liaise with Treasury on hedge requests and valuations, • Own payroll accounting entries, • Prepare journals and data for tax specialists, • Maintain and update fixed asset master data, • Process depreciation, valuations, and adjustments across GAAPs, • Support physical asset counts and inventory reconciliations, • Manage intercompany recharges and reconciliations, • 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally with broad exposure, • Strong understanding of accounting techniques (payroll, VAT, taxes, Intrastat), • Knowledge of US GAAP or local GAAP, • Confident working with large ERP systems, • Analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complexity, • Strong communication skills and the confidence to challenge constructively, • Organised, resilient, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines, • You'll work with a wide network of stakeholders-site controllers, accounting partners, tax teams, auditors, and shared service colleagues-giving you visibility and influence across the business.
