Typical deal sizes range from £5M£50M across sectors including logistics, manufacturing, technology, and business services. We operate lean, high-performing teams. As a Corporate Finance Manager, youll take ownership of live transactions and work directly with clients from day one. Role Overview As Corporate Finance Manager, you will lead the day-to-day execution of M&A and fundraising mandates, manage junior team members, and act as a key point of contact for clients and advisors. Youll also support origination and business development activities. Key Responsibilities Deal Execution Manage M&A and fundraising processes from mandate through to completion Build and review financial models , valuations, and information memoranda Coordinate due diligence, Q&A, and data room activity Support negotiations and manage communication between buyers, sellers, and advisors Client Management & Origination Maintain day-to-day client relationships on active mandates Prepare pitch materials and proposals for new opportunities Support partners with business development meetings and networking Team Leadership & Compliance Supervise and mentor analysts/associates on modelling and research Review junior work for accuracy and commercial logic Ensure all work meets internal standards and FCA compliance requirements Person Specification Essential 35 years experience in corporate finance, M&A, transaction services, or investment banking Strong financial modelling and valuation skills (DCF, multiples, LBO basics) Experience managing parts of a deal process and client communication Degree (2:1 or above) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field Based in or commutable to Bristol office-based role (5 days/week) Desirable ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CFA (qualified or part-qualified) Experience with debt advisory, MBOs, or private equity processes Package & Benefits £50,000 base salary Annual performance bonus linked to deal completions and origination Typical OTE bonus: £20,000£50,000 25 days holiday + bank holidays Employer pension contribution Professional qualification support Clear progression path to Director level Small, commercially focused team with high deal exposure and low bureaucracy Why Work in Aztec West Aztec West is one of Bristols leading business parks, offering excellent M4/M5 access, onsite parking, and a strong concentration of HQ and private-equity-backed businesses.
