Working within a minimum 2:1 staffing ratio, you'll help create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where young people can grow and recover.\n\nYour responsibilities will include:\n\nBuilding positive, trusting relationships with young people\nSupporting emotional regulation and mental wellbeing\nEncouraging independence, confidence, and personal development\nSupporting daily routines: school runs, appointments, activities, and bedtime\nKeeping accurate daily records (emotions, routines, behaviours, activities, etc.)\nIdentifying and reporting safeguarding concerns\nSupporting with personal care and household tasks when needed\nManaging challenging behaviour with patience, empathy, and resilienceWhat We're Looking For\n\nA caring, professional, and non-judgemental attitude\nStrong communication and problem-solving skills\nEmotional resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure\nGood attention to detail when writing notes and reports\nExperience in mental health, social care, or youth work (advantageous but not essential)\nLevel 3 Health & Social Care qualification (preferred but not required)\nA valid DBS (we can support your application)\nA driving licence is a bonus due to varied locationsWhat You'll Gain\n\nA rewarding role where every day makes a difference\nExperience that strengthens your academic studies and future career\nCompetitive hourly pay + mileage reimbursement\nFlexible working patterns to suit your lifestyle or study commitments\nOngoing training and development to support your professional growth \n\nIf you're ready to support young people's mental health and want a role that's both challenging and deeply rewarding, we'd love to hear from you.\n\nIND-HSC
