    Role Overview Cultural Tours Ltd is seeking a motivated and commercially focused Sales Executive to support the Company's sales and business development activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing prospective customers, promoting the Company's travel and travel management services, understanding customer requirements, preparing suitable quotations and proposals, and converting sales opportunities into confirmed bookings. The role will also involve developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers, corporate clients and business partners, with a focus on generating new business and increasing repeat sales. Duties • Identify and develop new customers and sales opportunities for the Company's travel and travel management services., • Respond to enquiries from prospective and existing customers, assess their travel requirements and recommend suitable products and services., • Present and promote the Company's services, including flight and hotel bookings, corporate travel, tours, event and conference travel arrangements and other related travel services., • Prepare quotations and sales proposals based on customers' requirements and follow up with prospective customers to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings., • Negotiate service arrangements and commercial terms with customers where appropriate and secure new business., • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and corporate clients, identifying opportunities for repeat and additional business., • Identify and approach new customer groups, sales channels and potential business partners to generate new sales opportunities., • Monitor customer demand and market developments to identify potential sales opportunities and provide relevant feedback to management., • Maintain accurate records of customer enquiries, quotations, sales activities and booking progress., • Work closely with management and the operations and travel teams to ensure agreed customer requirements are accurately communicated and delivered. Who Are We Looking For • Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably in Business, Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality or a related field., • Previous experience in sales, business development or customer relationship management would be desirable., • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills., • Good commercial awareness and customer service skills, with the ability to understand customer requirements and identify appropriate sales opportunities., • Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese, with the ability to communicate effectively with UK and Chinese customers and business partners., • Familiarity with the Chinese market and the travel requirements of Chinese customers and businesses would be highly desirable., • Self-motivated, commercially minded, target-driven and well organised., • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
