As a Head Nurse you will be accountable for the clinical leadership of the nursing team ensuring we deliver exceptional care always there for our clients patients and colleagues whilst maintaining the highest levels of regulatory practice and operational standards and compliance. We are currently seeking a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our passionate and supportive team at Medivet Folkestone. Role Accountabilities Exceptional care is at the heart of everything we do at Medivet. In this role you will: • Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients., • Support with surgeries and procedures completing all pre and post procedure activity., • Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities., • Deliver patient monitoring and care., • Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team., • Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care., • Dispense and check medication., • Deliver professional excellence complying with all regulatory practice and operational standards., • Hold briefings to engage and co-ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice. Your Skills and Experience • RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse., • Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care., • Experienced in working effectively as part of a team., • Experience of supporting Nurse consults with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency., • Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
