🌟 Job Opportunity: Care Manager 📍 Location: Manchester (M8) 💼 Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent 💷 Salary: £37,000 per annum + Performance Bonus 🏠 Sector: Domiciliary / Homecare Services About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality domiciliary care services across the Manchester area. The successful candidate will ensure that all customers receive safe, person-centred, and compassionate care that promotes dignity, independence, and an excellent quality of life. Reporting to the senior management team, the Care Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, providing strong leadership to staff, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities • Manage the daily operations of the homecare service to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality care delivery., • Promote the rights and independence of each customer, ensuring their needs and preferences are central to their care plans., • Conduct full assessments of care and associated risks prior to the start of service delivery., • Develop and maintain personalised care and support plans in collaboration with customers and their representatives., • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, legislation, and internal quality standards., • Recruit, train, supervise, and appraise care staff to maintain a professional, skilled, and motivated workforce., • Lead on safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety compliance., • Handle complaints and incidents professionally, using outcomes to implement service improvements., • Represent the organisation positively at external meetings and contribute to business development objectives., • Proven experience as a Care Manager, Deputy Manager, or similar leadership role within domiciliary or homecare services., • Excellent understanding of CQC standards and regulatory compliance., • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills., • NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or working towards)., • Competitive salary of £37,000 per annum, • Performance-based bonus, • Opportunities for career progression and ongoing professional development, • Supportive and collaborative working environment
