To safely and professionally disconnect and remove all existing bathroom appliances and fittings in preparation for renovation or replacement, ensuring all pipework is properly drained, sealed, and left in a safe and tidy condition.
Scope of Work:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Site Assessment & Preparation
Inspect bathroom layout and existing pipework.
Identify and assess shut-off valves and drainage points.
Protect surrounding areas (e.g., floors, walls) from water damage during removal.
Shut-Off & Drainage
Isolate water supply to bathroom fixtures.
Drain down relevant pipework, including any associated hot and cold feed lines.
Ensure full depressurisation of the water system before dismantling appliances.
Appliance Disconnection & Removal
Carefully disconnect and remove the following (as applicable):
Toilet
Basin/sink
Bath
Shower unit/enclosure
Taps and valves
Any wall-mounted or under-sink units connected to plumbing Disconnect and cap off associated pipework safely and in compliance with plumbing regulations. Post-Removal Tasks
Seal all exposed pipework where necessary to prevent leaks or ingress.
Remove waste appliances and fittings to designated disposal area (skip or waste facility). (To be confirmed)
Leave work area clean, safe, and free from hazards.
