We operate across the UK, US and EU through DTC and TikTok, supported by warehouses in the UK and US. After 7 years of growth, we are now entering a new chapter focused on profitability, operational excellence, and long-term brand value. We’re looking for a highly capable conversion-focused copywriter who can elevate the clarity, persuasion, and performance of our website and customer journey. This role is perfect for someone who understands how messaging influences behaviour and who loves crafting copy that drives measurable commercial results. Role Overview This role is ideal for a copywriter working across our UK and US storefronts, ensuring clear, consistent, and conversion‑focused messaging. You will craft persuasive, research‑backed copy across PDPs, landing pages, homepages, emails, and CRO experiments to strengthen our value proposition and improve purchase intent. You will work closely with CRO, CRM, design, and e-commerce teams to enhance clarity, support testing, and influence on/off site performance. This is a high-impact role for someone who wants to drive growth and understand customer behaviour at scale. Key Responsibilities 1. On-Site Conversion Copywriting • Write and optimise copy for PDPs, PLPs, collections, homepages, and landing pages., • Craft microcopy that reduces friction (shipping, returns, guarantees, FAQs)., • Strengthen value propositions, feature/benefit hierarchy, and CTA clarity., • Ensure copy is mobile-first, accessible, and structured for fast comprehension. 2. Copy for CRO Experiments • Develop hypothesis-driven copy variants for A/B tests and on-site experiments., • Use heatmaps, scroll data, survey feedback, and analytics to inform messaging., • Partner with the CRO lead to iterate and deploy winning insights across pages., • Document learnings and help build an internal library of messaging best practices 3. Customer Journey Messaging • Improve copy across the funnel: PDP → cart → checkout → post-purchase., • Support lifecycle and CRM teams by editing and refining email copy., • Maintain brand voice while prioritising clarity, persuasion, and conversion., • Remove ambiguity and help users understand value quickly and confidently. 4. Cross-Team Collaboration • Work closely with CRO, design, and e-commerce teams to align messaging with UX and visual hierarchy., • Provide copy guidance for new product launches, campaigns, and merchandising initiatives., • Collaborate with designers to ensure layout and copy reinforce each other., • Communicate clearly and proactively when messaging affects structure or experience 5. Research, Insights & Performance Tracking • Analyse customer reviews, surveys, and support tickets to understand objections and motivations., • Study competitor and category messaging to identify gaps and opportunities., • Monitor performance of copy tests and report key learnings., • Use insights to continuously refine clarity, persuasion, and trust-building elements Who You Are • A copywriter with experience writing for e-commerce, D2C, or conversion-driven environments., • Skilled at crafting clear, persuasive, benefit-led messaging., • Comfortable working with data, feedback, and CRO insights to inform copy., • Able to balance creativity with commercial impact and measurable performance., • Confident working across teams and adapting messaging to different formats., • Highly reliable, organised, and detail-oriented., • Curious, resourceful, and eager to understand customer psychology., • Excited to contribute ideas and iterate based on evidence, not assumptions.
