About the Role As a Consultant Radiographer in Breast Imaging at SAH Diagnostics, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality imaging services integrated within NHS and community diagnostic environments — including mobile/modular units and Community Diagnostic Centres. You will provide advanced clinical expertise, support service innovation, and contribute to strategic service delivery to help SAH meet its mission of enhancing patient care and pathway outcomes Key Responsibilities Clinical Leadership & Expert Practice • Lead provision and delivery of advanced radiographic services, including MRI, CT, and specialist imaging pathways., • Independently interpret and report imaging studies with high accuracy, generating timely clinical reports., • Oversee imaging protocols and optimise diagnostic pathways for quality and efficiency., • Work collaboratively with NHS partners and internal SAH teams to embed radiography services within insourced and mobile diagnostic models., • Support development and operational delivery of Community Diagnostic Centres, mobile imaging units and patient pathways from referral through to diagnosis., • Mentor and support advanced radiography practitioners, trainees and multidisciplinary staff within the SAH network., • Provide teaching, CPD sessions and contribute to professional development initiatives., • Participate in research, audit, and data-driven service evaluation aligned with organisational goals., • Ensure adherence to clinical governance standards, national guidelines, and local policies., • Contribute to auditing, risk management, and quality improvement processes., • Full GMC registration with licence to practise, • Prior NHS consultant-level experience (essential), • RCOG certification (essential), • Sub-specialisation in xxx (essential for those delivering xxx services), • Demonstrates minimum English language requirements of an Allied Health Professional, as defined by NHS Professionals, • Proven experience delivering outpatient gynaecology services within NHS settings, • Strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills, • Competitive remuneration aligned to experience and scope, • Planned, structured clinic sessions, • Clear service model with defined expectations, • Supportive clinical and operational teams, • Opportunity to contribute directly to NHS waiting list reduction, • Clinically governed environment with established pathways Please note: We can only accept applications from candidates who can provide evidence of UK Right to Work.
