This initial 3 month contract offers the chance to make a genuine difference within local communities.You'll manage a designated patch, handling tenancy matters, neighbourhood issues, lettings activity, resident welfare concerns, community engagement, and enforcement cases.Id love to speak to anyone who has experience as a Neighbourhood Officer, Tenancy Officer, Community Housing Officer or similar customer-facing property management roles.As a Housing Officer, you will be:Managing a portfolio of properties across the Torbay areaHandling tenancy changes, assignments, succession applications and mutual exchangesInvestigating nuisance reports, neighbour disputes and anti-social behaviour complaintsWorking alongside residents to help sustain occupancy and prevent tenancy breakdownSupporting people to access welfare assistance and relevant support servicesCarrying out inspections and home visits, including introductory and follow-up appointmentsIdentifying safeguarding concerns and taking appropriate action, preparing documentation for legal proceedings where requiredAssisting with empty homes, allocations activity and occupancy checksMaintaining accurate records and case notes using housing systemsI'd love to speak with anyone who has:Experience within social or community-based housing servicesPrevious exposure to tenancy enforcement and resident caseworkKnowledge of landlord obligations and occupancy-related legislationA track record of resolving community issues and customer concernsExcellent communication skills with a resident-focused approachLevel 3 CIH and a UK Valid Driving License with access to transportTravel & LocationBased in Devon , this opportunity covers accommodation and estates with excellent road connections via the A380 .If this Housing Officer role is of interested, apply today or contact Charlotte Sutton at .TPBN1_UKTJ
