The basics: Job Title: Quality Inspector Industry: Manufacturing Location: Port Talbot Pay: £19.41 per hour / £42,000 per annum + overtime = earning of £45,000 and upwards achievable Overtime: x1.5 Mon-Sat (Day) and x2 on Sat (Night)-Sun Shift: 42hr week - two weeks of days rotating with two weeks of nights Week 1: Wednesday and Thursday days 6am to 6pm Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday days 6am to 6pm Week 3: Wednesday and Thursday nights 6pm to 6am Week 4: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights 6pm to 6am Holidays: 24 days + 8 bank holidays Benefits: Work place pension, free onsite parking, cycle to work scheme etc. Overview: Working in a modern, purpose built, clean manufacturing environment for a company that have facilities globally, we now require a quality assurance inspector to join the business Key responsibilities of the Quality Inspector role: Maintain accuracy of product through visual and dimensional checks The ideal candidate / Quality Inspector may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually: - Previous experience working within a role where product quality is key - Previous experience working in a quality focused role within a production/manufacturing environment or similar - Keen eye for detail - Confident communicator who can make strong calls based on quality and communicate defects effectively Commutable from: Maesteg, Port Talbot, Swansea, Llanelli, Bridgend and surrounding areas.
