Job description: Injection Moulding Machine Setter Company: Staff Power Group Location: Washington Job Type: 3 Shifts (Days, Backs & Nights) Salary: £15.00 per Hour + OT + 7% S/A About the Role Staff Power is currently recruiting for an experienced Injection Moulding Machine Setter to join a busy and dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional who takes pride in quality, safety, and problem-solving. Reporting to the NPI and Technical Manager, you will be responsible for the initial set-up of mould tools at the start of production runs and act as a key technical support and problem-solver during your shift. Key Responsibilities • Take a safety-first approach to all activities to protect yourself and colleagues, • Set up mould tools at the beginning of production runs, ensuring optimal machine performance, • Carry out tool changes using validated settings in accordance with SOPs and customer requirements, • Monitor machine and tool performance during production and intervene when issues arise, • Maintain consistent quality standards and address non-conformances promptly, • Complete all required documentation throughout your shift, • Act as a technical “go-to” person for colleagues, • Support and develop team members’ skills and knowledge, • Promote high standards of housekeeping and compliance with procedures Physical Requirements • Prolonged periods standing and moving around the factory, • Reaching, bending, grasping, and handling tools, • Ability to lift up to 15kg of plastic raw materials, • Good manual dexterity, • Good eyesight (with corrective lenses if required) for inspection and machine operation Essential Requirements • Proven experience in injection moulding machine setting, • Safe operation of overhead cranes certificate (essential), • Strong technical problem-solving ability, • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Desirable • Forklift licence
