Citi is looking to hire a Structurer to work as part of its highly successful Rates Structuring business, focused on European Clients. By joining this desk, you will be a key member of a leading structuring franchise in Rates and Credit in Europe. The focus of your role will be structuring Rates products for Citi’s extensive client franchise as well as refining and implementing the sales and marketing strategy to further develop Citi’s client footprint through a clear marketing plan with defined priorities, market penetration and revenue goals. What you will do will be varied day to day, but the key drivers for the role are: • Pricing and developing innovative asset side financial products for European clients, • Participate to the pre-trade & post-sales effort, closely working with dedicated institutional and retail sales, • Payoff Risk and P&L impact pre-trade and post-trade scenario analysis, • Customized back tests and client portfolio analysis, • Participate to the development of new products/payoffs, • Marketing presentations and participation to client meetings, • Work with internal Trading and Strategy teams to understand market trends and trading ideas, as well as working with Sales for training and educating on product trends., • Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure, • Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics, • Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; and ensure that all team members understand the need to do the same, demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputation., • Adhere to all policies and procedures as defined by your role which will be communicated to you, • To be considered for this role, you will need to have existing structuring experience.
