SEN Teaching Assistant – Full & Part-time Clearly Education is seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with additional needs in Special Educational Needs Schools. This position is critical in assisting our students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Key responsibilities for SEN Teaching Assistant role: • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs., • Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)., • Support classroom teachers in creating an inclusive learning environment., • Foster a positive and encouraging atmospheres for all students., • Work collaboratively with the SEN team, Teaching Assistants, teachers, and parents to monitor and report on student progress., • Help with personal care and mobility support when necessary. Qualifications and experience for SEN Teaching Assistant role: • Previous experience working with children or young people with additional needs or similar transferable skills is essential., • Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support are desirable., • Strong communication and interpersonal skills., • Proactive and dynamic., • Ability to work effectively as a Teaching Assistant and as part of a team., • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
