We are seeking a Process Improvement Lead to join our top-tier COMAH site. This role offers the opportunity to drive meaningful change across our manufacturing processes, with a focus on improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), reducing operational costs, and optimising plant performance. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will lead improvement initiatives, challenge existing practices, and help shape a more efficient and resilient operation. Role Responsibilities • Lead initiatives to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by analysing performance data and addressing the root causes of losses in availability, performance, and quality, • Identify production bottlenecks and throughput constraints, developing and implementing practical solutions to increase flow and plant capacity, • Champion continuous improvement by challenging existing processes and introducing innovative ideas and technologies, • Establish clear metrics and a robust tracking system to monitor progress and quantify the financial impact of improvement projects, • Act as a key liaison between Maintenance, Production, Quality, and Projects to ensure improvement initiatives are well-planned, resourced, and executed, • Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities across operational functions, contributing directly to bottom-line performance, • Develop and maintain current and future state process maps and value stream maps to highlight opportunities for waste elimination and efficiency gains, • Conduct a comprehensive review of site capacity and present a phased roadmap for capacity improvement, including timelines and expected returns, • Support year-on-year reduction in overall site operational costs through successful implementation of improvement projects Requirements • Demonstrated experience in an operational or continuous improvement role within a manufacturing or industrial environment, ideally on a COMAH site, • Strong technical understanding of OEE principles and bottleneck analysis, with experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or Theory of Constraints highly desirable, • Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of identifying and resolving complex operational challenges, • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organisation, • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change, building consensus for new ways of working, • Resilient and determined, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges and delivering results About Innospec Innospec is a global specialty chemicals company focused on bringing innovative new technologies to market combined with a fast and responsive service.
