We are currently reviewing our approach to Growth and Investment, with a view to maximising the opportunities available via the new operating landscape, whilst meeting the priorities of our existing stock and ensuring our homes meet the needs of our customers. Development sits within the Communities and Regeneration Directorate. This portfolio covers Development, Sales, Customer Service, Neighbourhood Management, Customer Voice, Social Impact and Customer Access. You will be a customer focused development professional, who recognises the importance of customer experience as well as supporting your colleagues elsewhere in the business to ensure that our new homes are well-designed and inclusive of the products and technologies that are important to Cobalt. You will lead, manage, and motivate staff ensuring that the new build programme is successfully delivered in line with business and funding targets and ensuring high quality homes and customer service is provided to Cobalt customers. This is an exciting opportunity to join Cobalt as Assistant Director of Development, Regeneration & Sales. Some responsibilities include: • Lead the delivery of Cobalt’s development, sales, and regeneration programme across the Liverpool City Region / Cobalt growth areas, ensuring alignment with the Group’s Growth and Investment Strategy and Corporate Plan., • Oversee Homes England grant-funded schemes, regeneration projects, and S106 opportunities, ensuring milestones, compliance, and value for money., • Provide strong leadership to Development, Sales, and Regeneration teams, motivating staff, managing performance, and fostering a high-performance culture., • Develop and maintain effective partnerships with Local Authorities, Homes England, developer partners, and the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority., • Manage financial planning, risk, and performance reporting, ensuring compliance with Cobalt’s Financial Regulations and standing orders., • Ensure schemes meet all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements including Building Safety, CDM, health & safety, and planning/building regulations., • Prepare and present reports to the Board and act as lead contact for the Investment & Development Committee., • Champion customer excellence, ensuring resident engagement, minimising complaints, and embedding Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion throughout the service. Rev & Regs are recruiting for a Surveillance Monitoring Officer role for a large multinational financial services company in Liverpool. This is a 6-month fixed term contract. To act as a Surveillance Monitoring Officer and support with the execution of the 2LOD ‘surveillance’ monitoring programme including but not limited to daily review of trade activity and weekly assessment of best execution. Responsibilities: • Supports the delivery of the surveillance monitoring programme across the Group, in line with regulatory requirements and ensures the smooth delivery of said plan to a high standard of quality., • Ensures that the quality and tenacity of review work completed is to a high standard, accurate and well documented., • Assess trades on a daily basis for potential market abuse utilising the automated analysis software, LiquidMetrix and the business enhanced monitoring activities., • Assesses best execution on a weekly basis and provides challenge to 1LoD Dealing teams on the outliers identified by the trade monitoring software., • Attends and provides input to weekly best execution meetings between the Dealing team and Compliance., • Supports the maintenance and development of the trade monitoring software, LiquidMetrix., • Performs routine monitoring programme across the Group’s communication mediums., • Produces regulatory submissions including TR-1 reports and Takeover Panel reporting., • Develops insightful and meaningful management information to help governing Committees understand themes and trends arising., • Drives the continuing professional development of oneself. This role has responsibility to deliver projects on time and in budget, with relevant input prior to sale to enhance deliverability. Role Narrative: Our client is looking for a practical team member with a positive mindset who is keen to develop their skills and deliver an outstanding customer experience. As a Project Manager you will lead on a number of commercial fit out projects, where attention to detail and client relationship management is absolutely key. You will not only oversee project execution but also contribute to commercial strategy through rigorous budget management, forecasting, and process improvement. You will leverage project management tools to plan, monitor, and report progress, ensuring senior management has full visibility of financial and operational performance. In this role you will be office based, carrying out full project management, with site visits anywhere between South Birmingham and Carlisle. You will be the main point of contact for clients, contractors and senior management. You will be responsible for the professional running of the project, ensuring everything runs on time and within budget. You will lead a team of direct reports and indirect reports (subcontractors), leading performance reviews, 121’s and ensuring all project related admin and system inputs are accurate, on time and updated. You will need to be able program and organise resources, teams, and materials to achieve this. Attention to detail: We require a significant attention to detail, bear in mind the clients we are dealing with often treat their practice as their own home and require that level of detailed finish to the project. Slap dash finishes and a “that’ll do” attitude is not suitable for this role. Compliance & Resources: Important understanding and execution of compliance, without stifling productivity. Locating, measuring, and vetting resources to multiply the company’s capacity for project delivery. Budget Control: Requires a key understanding and aptitude for executing a project to within or under a budget. Negotiation of budget rates with contractors and suppliers will be key in keeping us competitive within the marketplace. Commercial Acumen: Strong ability to interpret financial data, manage P&L impact, and balance cost with quality. Strategic Thinker: Ability to align project execution with long-term business objectives. Analytical Mindset: Skilled at turning data into actionable insights to improve efficiency and profitability.
