Job Title: HR & Finance Officer Location: Haringey and surrounding North London areas Salary: £17 – £20 per hour (depending on experience) Contract: Full-time / Part-time (Flexible) – Temporary to Permanent Start Date: ASAP Company: Complete Classroom Services About the Role Complete Classroom Services is seeking an experienced and organised HR & Finance Officer to support school offices across Haringey and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with previous school-based experience and knowledge of school management systems such as Bromcom, Arbor, or SIMS. The role combines both HR administration and financial support, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of school business functions. Key Responsibilities HR Duties • Manage staff records, contracts, and personnel files in line with GDPR, • Support recruitment processes, including job postings, shortlisting, and onboarding, • Maintain accurate records on systems such as Bromcom, Arbor, or SIMS, • Process staff absence, sickness records, and annual leave tracking, • Liaise with external agencies regarding safeguarding, compliance, and vetting checks (DBS), • Assist with payroll preparation, including timesheets and staff data Finance Duties • Process purchase orders, invoices, and payments in line with school procedures, • Support budget monitoring and financial reporting, • Reconcile transactions and maintain accurate financial records, • Assist with petty cash management and expense tracking, • Liaise with suppliers and resolve any invoice or payment queries, • Support audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations General Administration • Provide administrative support to the school leadership team, • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases, • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion, • Support the smooth running of the school office The Ideal Candidate Will Have: • Previous experience in a school office (essential), • Strong working knowledge of Bromcom, Arbor, or SIMS, • Experience in HR administration and/or finance support, • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, • A professional, proactive, and discreet approach, • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Why Work with Complete Classroom Services? • Competitive hourly pay (£17–£20 per hour), • Flexible working opportunities, • Roles available across primary, secondary, and SEN schools, • Supportive and dedicated consultants, • Opportunities for long-term and permanent placements Apply Now If you are an experienced school administrator with HR and finance skills, we would love to hear from you.
