The Role As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving site performance through both planned and reactive maintenance activities. Your responsibilities will include: Electrical fault finding and maintenance on production machinery Working with three-phase motors, sensors, relays, contactors, inverters, breakers, switches, and power supplies Reading and interpreting electrical schematics Using test equipment including multimeter for diagnostics and fault finding Mechanical maintenance including conveyors, rollers, bearings, pulleys, gearboxes, shafts, belts, pneumatic and hydraulic systems Supporting continuous improvement and equipment reliability projects Carrying out component replacements, strip-downs, and rebuild work where required To succeed in this role, you should have: A recognised engineering qualification (ideally Electrical) Proven maintenance experience in an industrial environment (e.g. FMCG, manufacturing, food & beverage, packaging, utilities) Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills with a focus on root cause analysis PLC experience (advantageous but not essential) The ability to work independently and as part of a team ATA is committed to creating a diverse workforce and is an equal opportunities employer.
