Strategic Clinical Development Manager\nFixed-term contract (6 months) | 37.5 hours per week\nHome-based with extensive national travel\nVoyage Care is seeking an experienced Strategic Clinical Development Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping and embedding our priority Models of Care across the organisation.\nThis is a high-impact, senior-facing role where you’ll translate strategic clinical ambition into practical, evidence-based frameworks that can be consistently delivered across services, supporting both quality outcomes and sustainable growth.\nAbout the Role\nReporting to the Head of Practice Development, you’ll lead the development, implementation and evaluation of Voyage Care’s Models of Care, ensuring they are clinically robust, operationally deliverable and aligned to our strategic objectives. You’ll work collaboratively with senior stakeholders across Quality, Operations, Clinical, Learning & Development, Digital and Commercial teams.\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead the development of comprehensive, operational Models of Care across priority service lines, including neuro-focused and complex care services\nTranslate high-level model summaries into detailed frameworks supported by SOPs, assessment tools, training requirements and governance arrangements\nEnsure Models of Care clearly define expectations for care delivery, staffing, environments, outcomes, training and quality assurance\nIntegrate specialist clinical and sector expertise into agreed models\nIdentify and embed evidence-based assessment tools, outcome measures, risk assessments and support planning templates\nDefine the clinical approaches and specialist skills required to deliver each Model of Care\nComplete training gap analyses and support future workforce development strategies\nDevelop plans for piloting, testing and phased implementation across selected services\nLead evaluation and review activity to support continuous improvement and assurance\nProduce evidence-based content to support internal communication and external marketing as required\nProvide progress updates and assurance reports to senior leadersAbout You\nYou’ll bring strong clinical and service development expertise, with the credibility to work confidently with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.\nEssential\n\nSignificant professional knowledge of health and/or social care service delivery and quality improvement\nStrong understanding of evidence-based practice, assessment, outcomes measurement and governance\nProven experience in clinical development, service design or quality improvement\nExperience developing policies, procedures or SOPs within complex care environments\nStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams\nExcellent written communication skills and high attention to detail\nAbility to work autonomously, prioritise effectively and deliver at paceDesirable\n\nExperience developing or implementing Models of Care or service frameworks\nBackground in learning disability, autism, neuro-behavioural or acquired brain injury services\nExperience supporting service growth, transformation or scale-up\nExperience with digital care planning systems (e.g. Nourish)\nExperience contributing to evidence-based business development or marketing materialsOur Values\nAt Voyage Care, we put the people we support at the centre of everything we do.
