A premium sports and entertainment company are currently looking for an International Tax Manager to join their global tax team. Reporting into the Head of International Tax and the opportunity to work autonomously. The role has a stronger emphasis on non-US corporate tax compliance and provision, while still retaining exposure to other areas. Salary: £85k - £95k Location – Chiswick (4 days a week in office) The key objective is to centralise the company’s non-US corporate tax compliance in London, with the successful hire expected to lead, own and build out global compliance and provision processes at scale. This includes oversight of US GAAP and local GAAP tax provisions. The role is not about hands-on return preparation or deep technical expertise in every jurisdiction. Instead, it requires proven experience in designing and implementing governance, oversight, controls, processes and stakeholder communication across multiple jurisdictions, working closely with controllers, advisors, the wider tax team and finance. While external advisors will support delivery, the individual must be proactive and ownership-driven, capable of shaping and running the function independently rather than operating in a purely support capacity. Compliance and provision will form a significant portion of the role, though it is not exclusively limited to these areas. We are looking for a senior international tax professional (5+ years) who can: Core Technical Experience • Lead UK and international corporate tax compliance and reporting., • Manage tax provisions, disclosures, forecasting and HMRC interactions., • Advise on international tax issues: Transfer Pricing, WHT, BEPS, Pillar 2, PEs., • Support commercial projects including M&A, contract reviews, and restructuring. Broader Responsibilities • Improve processes using tech and automation., • Support tax audits across multiple jurisdictions., • Assist with tax integration, controls and risk management., • Deliver training and cross-functional tax guidance. Desired Background • Accounting/degree qualification., • Strong international corporate tax grounding., • Solid technical UK compliance, provision & advisory., • Ideally in-house experience., • Experience with US GAAP tax accounting, SAP, OneSource, SOX, or listed environments is a plus., • Awareness (not ownership) of VAT and employment tax matters.
