Engineering Manager If you are interested in working on a small site that gives you a hands on, varied leadership role, this could be the perfect next opportunity for your career. With a number of exciting business wide initiatives from new product introductions and operational increases, through to expansions and new site launches, this leading pharmaceutical business is in a very exciting period of growth and transition. This specific hire is for their site in South London / North Surrey and will take full accountability for a small team and be responsible for maintenance, servicing and take a strong involvement in engineering projects. To take on this role you do not needto be an engineering veteran – it’s a two person team and therefore the key is that you can get stuck in and are willing to take on a number of the duties directly on a day to day basis. Full training will be provided in the pharmaceutical equipment and processes. The standard hours are 7am to 3pm Mon-Fri – but you need to be flexible as there will be call outs (including nights and weekends). Overtime/TOIL is available. Operations / Site Manager I am partnered exclusively with an international advanced pharmaceutical company that are growing key leadership and management positions across UK sites. This is a critical hire to oversee all onsite operations within a fully aseptic facility testing and manufacturing advanced pharmaceutical products. Falling under the scope of this role will be production, quality control and engineering. Whilst the site remains relatively small, this does include both direct and indirect reports. The core objective of this hire is to bring a strong leadership focus to the site. With a drive towards retention strategy, growth plans and current technical challenges to optimise delivery, this individual will be instrumental in ensuring the success of the site. Whilst this could well suite an existing operations or site manager, it could also be an opportunity for someone to step up from a departmental managerial position (e.g. production or QC). QC Manager I am partnered exclusively with an international advanced pharmaceutical company that are continuing to expand operations both in terms of product delivery and site presence across the UK. This specific hire will take management and scheduling responsibilities for all site Quality Control (QC) activities with strong focus on method development oversight and team leadership. A strong focus on the full validation lifecycle from beginning to end is crucial in combination with solid regulatory understanding from an analytical chemistry perspective. Whilst this will not be hands on day to day, given the size of the unit, you will need to be comfortable being in the laboratory and supporting the team, especially with out of specification challenges and development and validation activities.
