This is an exciting time to join the Acute Medicine and Medicine Specialties Teams at County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust. The aspirations for our patient focused services are bold. We are a forward thinking team that prides itself on providing high quality clinical care. We are an enthusiastic and motivated team providing ample opportunities to develop and reshape the delivery of both diabetes and endocrine services in County Durham and Darlington. We are looking for new colleagues who will be able to work with us to achieve this goal. The successful candidates will provide skills in diabetes and endocrinology but will be encouraged to develop additional special expertise of their choosing (for example diabetic foot, bone metabolism, type 1 diabetes, lipid services or erectile dysfunction services) to complement the special interests of the other consultants within the Trust. If you are being interviewed you must accept an interview slot in the system to continue, even if you have arranged with the manager. You must be able to produce ALL certificates stated essential in the person specification or you will not be able to complete pre-employment checks.
