Bolney Wine Estate is one of England’s most established vineyards, producing award-winning wines and welcoming thousands of visitors each year. With our newly renovated hospitality spaces, we’re looking for experienced Duty Managers to help lead our growing Front of House team. As a Duty Manager, you’ll be the senior leader on shift – ensuring smooth operations across our restaurant, café, shop, and tours & tastings. You’ll inspire the team, uphold service standards, and ensure every guest leaves with a memorable experience. ⭐ What you’ll do • Lead the FOH team during service, creating a warm and professional atmosphere, • Act as the main point of contact for staff and guests during your shift, • Resolve guest queries and complaints quickly and confidently, • Support training and development, from new starter inductions to ongoing coaching, • Oversee opening/closing, cash handling, and rota management, • Drive sales through excellent product knowledge and upselling, • Maintain compliance with health & safety, licensing, and Challenge 25 👤 What we’re looking for • Experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality, • Strong leadership skills and a passion for customer service, • Ability to stay calm and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment, • Knowledge of food hygiene, licensing, and health & safety regulations, • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and busy seasonal periods, • A genuine enthusiasm for food, wine, and hospitality 🍷 What we offer • Competitive salary + tips, • Staff discounts on wine, dining, and retail, • Opportunities for training and qualifications (including WSET), • A supportive, collaborative team culture, • The chance to be part of one of England’s most exciting wine estates If you’re passionate about hospitality and want to help shape unforgettable guest experiences at Bolney, we’d love to hear from you.
