Catering General Manager Contract Catering Business & Industry Haywards Heath - West Sussex Monday to Friday Salary: £45,000 An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Catering General Manager to lead a high-profile B&I contract within a flagship workplace environment. This is a role with genuine ownership of the operation, offering the opportunity to shape service delivery, lead a committed team, and build relationships with key stakeholders & clients. The site delivers a diverse catering offer, including staff dining, grab-and-go & vending and a busy hospitality and events operation. It is a fast-paced, people-focused environment, ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys being operational while maintaining a strategic overview. The Catering General Manager has full responsibility for the day-to-day of the catering operation, ensuring consistently high standards of food quality, service delivery, and customer experience. Oversee all aspects of the F & B operation across the site. Ensure service standards are met while delivering exceptional client service. Managing staff dining, grab-and-go and vending, and hospitality and events operations. Lead, develop, and motivate a team of approximately 15 staff through strong positive leadership. Act as the primary point of contact for senior internal clients, VIPs, and visitors. Manage budgets, controlling costs, monitoring stock to ensure contract profitability. Support marketing and engagement initiatives to drive sales and participation. Ensure full compliance, consistency, and continuous improvement across the operation. About You Proven experience managing a B&I catering contract. Strong hospitality and events delivery experience. A natural, confident people-focused leader with a hands-on management style. Excellent relationship-building skills with a calm and professional approach. Strong commercial awareness, including budgeting, reporting, and cost control.
