Key Responsibilities:
Prepare a variety of Indian curry dishes, including traditional, karahi and balti dishes.
Measure, mix, and cook ingredients following traditional recipes or restaurant standards.
Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area at all times.
Monitor stock levels and inform management of any shortages.
Train and support junior kitchen staff when needed.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health and safety standards.
Assist in developing new curry dishes or menu specials.
