FOCACCIA MIA is a newly built venture along side our family catering business, IDA'S KITCHEN, which has been catering London since 1999.
We strive to deliver only the best with our fully loaded Focaccia Sandwiches. We are looking for passionate and hard working members to join the family.
As Focaccia Mia is growing, so is our amazing team! We are looking for creative and alert sandwich makers to join the fast-paced kitchen team
Must be available every weekend!
Shifts pattern - WEDNESDAY/THURSDAY/SUNDAY - 8am to 5pm
FRIDAY/SATURDAY - 8am to 6pm
FULL-TIME WEDNESDAY TO SUNDAY AVAILABILITY ONLY
An exceptional level of kitchen experience is necessary, ideally within a fast-paced service setting!
Following this, as with all our roles; Level 2 HYGIENE & SAFETY Certification is MANDATORY!
As a Sous Chef/Staff Supervisor for our Sandwich Shop, you can expect to be responsible for the following duties:
Overseeing the kitchen staff. This involves delegating tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring efficiency
Cook some fillings & assemble sandwiches the FM way
Ensuring all foods are cooked to the suitable temperatures (of which must be recorded)
Temperature control charts
Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen
Prep - maintaining consistency of cooking and seasoning
Handle food with correct procedures
Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
Working in a busy and fast-paced environment while also visible to customers.
Prepare prep lists and order lists
Correct stock rotation
