TL;DR: We're seeking a creative, self-starting SDR, BDR, or ISR ready for their next step — someone who wants to go beyond the sequence and the dialler and help Cloudsmith break into the largest companies on the planet. You'll join Cloudsmith's brand-new Global Strategic Accounts pod, reporting directly to its lead, and own outbound, campaigns, and events for a hand-picked list of Global 2000 target companies. Cloudsmith is the world’s most powerful artifact management platform. Software organizations of all sizes rely on Cloudsmith to control and secure their software supply chains. Cloudsmith allows customers to manage curated private repositories that proxy public open-source software registries. Developers use these repositories as their trusted source for build artifacts. We support over 30 formats, including the most popular languages, package managers, operating systems, and AI and container protocols. We’re aimed at the enterprise, with built-in comprehensive security and advanced features for policy enforcement, integrations, and observability. Customers consider Cloudsmith critical infrastructure, a central part of their software build chain. Cloudsmith is built by developers, for developers. We treasure the developer experience. The Tao of Cloudsmith expresses the values we live by every day. This is a special company, and now is a great time to join us. Cloudsmith already beats JFrog and Sonatype head-to-head at Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 scale — this year's two largest deals in company history were both won against those incumbents at household-name enterprises. We're now building a small, dedicated pod whose sole focus is turning that into a repeatable motion across the Global 2000. As our first hire into this pod, you'll report directly to the Head of Global Strategic Accounts and own the top of the funnel for a hand-picked list of the world's largest companies. This isn't a shared queue of inbound leads or a fixed daily-activity quota — it's a short list of accounts you'll build a real point of view on, and get creative to break into: sharp outbound, tailored campaigns built with Marketing, and small, high-intent in-person events. You'll pull in help from across Cloudsmith — Sales Engineering, Security, Product, Customer Success, even our executives — whenever a specific account calls for it. This role suits a senior SDR or BDR ready to specialize rather than move straight into a closing seat, or an ISR who wants a defined path toward strategic/enterprise sales without skipping the step where you learn how the biggest companies in the world actually buy. Prospecting and Multi-Threading Identify and research a defined list of named Global 2000 target accounts — no spray-and-pray sequences. Initiate and manage outbound communication through email, phone, and social media, built around each account's specific situation. Campaigns and ABM Partner with Marketing to design 1:1 and 1:few campaigns for named accounts — bespoke landing pages, tailored content, and sequences built around that specific company. Bring an account-based, "treat‑the‑account‑as‑the‑market" approach to Cloudsmith's Global 2000 target list. Events and In-Person Programs Plan and run small, high-intent in-person programs — executive dinners, roundtables, regional meetups — aimed at Global 2000 buying committees. Own conference and trade‑show follow‑through: identify target‑account attendees in advance, work the floor, and convert conversations into pipeline (this is exactly how Cloudsmith's second‑largest deal ever got started). Creative, "Left‑Field" Tactics Pull in resources from other departments — Product, Security, Customer Success, executives — for single‑account "surge" plays when a big swing calls for it. Test unconventional channels: direct mail, gifting, warm intros via investors, advisors, or customers, and open‑source/developer‑community engagement. Reporting and CRM Management Qualify leads and hand off sales‑ready opportunities to the pod lead and Strategic AEs with full context — buying committee, signals, competitive situation. Keep accurate records of prospect and account interactions in the CRM (HubSpot & Salesforce), and track what's working across outbound, campaigns, and events. Technical Expertise Proven experience in an SDR, BDR, or ISR role — ideally selling or prospecting into complex technical buyers (software, cloud, DevOps, or security solutions). 2–4+ years of sales/prospecting experience, with some exposure to enterprise or named‑account motions a strong plus. Proficiency working in a CRM, sales prospecting tools, and web-based conferencing systems (Slack, HubSpot, Salesforce.com, Intercom, and Zoom). Demonstrated success meeting pipeline/sales goals, with a solid track record. Familiarity with sales strategies like email sequences, cold calling, and social selling — plus a track record of going beyond them. Knowledge & Skills Tech‑Savvy: comfortable engaging with technical buyers and understanding DevOps, cloud, or CI/CD processes. Curious and Coachable: eager to learn, adapt to feedback, and grow within a fast‑paced environment. Creative & Resourceful: comfortable owning marketing‑adjacent work — campaign ideation, event planning — not just call and email volume. Executive Presence: genuinely comfortable engaging senior stakeholders (security leaders, VPs of Engineering, CTOs) at some of the largest companies in the world. Excellent Communicator: clear and professional in verbal and written communication. Customer Focused: Give customers a voice and make sure we listen. We want to create a buying experience that customers would pay for. Collective Ownership: Share responsibility and ownership. Help us all improve together, we are all accountable for the success of the company. Honesty & Transparency: Direct, honest communication with a focus on building & maintaining trust. Note: You must be based in Northern Ireland or ROI and have the right to work independently without requiring sponsorship. A position based in NI or ROI, joining Cloudsmith's brand-new Global Strategic Accounts pod as its first hire. A competitive compensation package, including equity. Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance. Generous annual leave and flexible working policies to suit your lifestyle. A professional development budget for conferences and training. A dynamic, innovative, trust‑centric, and supportive work environment. The chance to help build a brand-new function from scratch, with direct visibility to Cloudsmith's leadership team. Regular travel for onsites with target accounts and industry events — this is very much a get‑out‑from‑behind‑the‑desk role. Regardless of your location, we deeply care about the health and wellness of our staff and their families; a sustainable pace is important to us. In addition to generous annual leave (PTO), we offer health and well‑being benefits and flexible, family‑friendly work policies. You will have an enormous opportunity to learn new skills alongside your colleagues, and your continued professional development is essential to us because it's important to you. We will support you with budgets for equipment, training, books, conferences, travel, and certifications. The more powerful you become, the better for all of us. Cloudsmith is headquartered in Belfast, Northern Ireland, with fully‑equipped office space that’s open 24/7. We use our H.Q. regularly for activities like working sessions, team planning, meet‑and‑greets, and sometimes other group activities (like games!). We also hold all‑hands off‑sites in Belfast twice a year, featuring guest speakers and team activities. Many Cloudsmithers work remotely, so we rely on our online collaboration tools; Slack, Google Docs, Linear, and other popular collaboration tools are how we work. Cloudsmith is an equal opportunity employer, proud to nurture a diverse workplace that welcomes applications from individuals of all races, genders, and ethnic groups. We do not discriminate based on age, religion, sexual orientation, citizenship status, military service, or health conditions. We will not tolerate discrimination of any kind within our workforce. We're looking for someone who can balance creativity with commercial rigor — who has the account‑based instincts to build a point of view on a Fortune‑scale company before ever picking up the phone, and who's fearless about trying tactics nobody's tried at Cloudsmith before. We're critical infrastructure by developers / for developers, building the world's software supply chain platform — and now taking that story to the Global 2000. We want to hear from you if you're excited to help write that chapter, from today until IPO and beyond. #J-18808-Ljbffr
