    £14–£16 hourly
    Part-time
    London

We are looking for a self-employed to make hot sauce & chilli jam. Though the hours are extremely flexible (you can come and make jam anytime you wish as long as our inventory is kept stocked up), you MUST be able to commute regularly to our kitchen in Hackney Wick, so East London candidates are preferred. Shift times are minimum 4 hours to get real cooking done and up to 8-10 hours a day. We estimate you will start with 10 hours per week but it can grow. You must have previous batching and quality control experience. You will be expected to: • Manage 4 induction hobs at once, • Lift heavy pots and pour hot liquids into containers, • Bottle and lid jars (you will have support from a sous-chef), • Clean pots, pans, kitchen surfaces and generally maintain a clean kitchen up to food safety standards, • Have great communication -- we are a small business and looking to create a community and a fun vibe This is an extremely fun and flexible job for the right person.
