Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently. This position requires excellent communication skills and a passion for the culinary arts, as you will be the vital link between the kitchen and the dining area. Duties - Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen and bar to our guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation. - Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and delivery. - Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations. - Help with meal preparation when necessary, adhering to food safety standards. - Support waitstaff by providing assistance during busy periods, including clearing tables. - Ensure that all food items are served at the correct temperature and in accordance with restaurant standards. - Collaborate with team members to enhance guest experiences and address any concerns promptly. What we are looking for - Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not essential. - Familiarity with culinary terms and food preparation techniques is advantageous. - A strong understanding of food safety practices is highly desirable. - Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with both guests and kitchen staff effectively. We are looking for a part time Fishmonger Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night from 5pm to 11/11.30 pm umtil the end of July then we are closed for all of august the applicant must -have experience as a fishmonger -able to open oysters -can fillet or clean fish -can speak English -good presentation this is a contract job not A CASH IN HAND JOB!!! you will het pay every 28 of every month
