About the Role Teaching Personnel are seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate, and dedicated SEND Teacher to deliver high‑quality teaching and learning within a Key Stage 3 pre‑formal sensory class in a specialist secondary setting. This is a full‑time role available immediately and continuing until the end of the Summer Term. You will be teaching a class of six students aged 11–19, all of whom communicate non‑verbally, with one student using a small number of key words. The class is supported by three experienced members of staff, with whom you will work closely to ensure highly personalised, meaningful and nurturing learning experiences. Although students are of secondary age, they follow a curriculum aligned with EYFS / KS1 developmental level, with a strong emphasis on engagement, communication, sensory integration, independence and emotional regulation. For this reason, both primary and secondary trained teachers are encouraged to apply.
