As we prepare to launch our service, we are looking for an organised, proactive, and caring Care Coordinator to join our leadership team and help us build an outstanding service from day one. About the Role As our Care Coordinator, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the service. Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will coordinate care visits, support our care team, maintain high-quality standards, and ensure our clients receive safe, reliable, person-centred care. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about care and wants to develop their career within a growing organisation. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate and manage daily staff rotas using our care management system., • Allocate care visits to ensure continuity of care and efficient service delivery., • Support the onboarding and induction of new care staff., • Liaise with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and local authorities., • Assist with care assessments, reviews, and care planning., • Monitor electronic care records and ensure documentation is accurate., • Respond to changes in care needs and coordinate emergency cover when required., • Conduct spot checks and quality assurance visits., • Support the Registered Manager in maintaining compliance with CQC regulations., • Report and escalate safeguarding concerns, incidents, and complaints appropriately., • Participate in the on-call rota as required. What We're Looking For Essential • Experience working within domiciliary/home care., • Previous experience as a Care Coordinator, Senior Care Worker, Team Leader, or similar role., • Excellent organisational and communication skills., • Strong IT skills and confidence using care management software., • Good knowledge of CQC Fundamental Standards and safeguarding., • Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle., • Right to work in the UK. Desirable • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)., • Experience with rota planning and staff scheduling., • Experience carrying out care assessments and reviews., • Level 5 qualification (or willingness to work towards it).
