Project Manager (Fleet System Integration Project) Contract: 3 months (temporary) initially but likely to extend - paid through an umbrella Start - 5th of January or sooner if possible! Reports to: Plant & Fleet Director Location: Stevenage or Castleford/Hybrid working is also on offer Purpose of Role To lead and deliver the successful integration of two fleet departments, ensuring alignment of systems, processes, and people. The postholder will drive delivery of the change program, adopt Plant & Fleet Solutions department’s systems and standards while managing the human and operational aspects of integration. Experience & Knowledge • Proven experience of managing and delivering complex change or integration projects to tight timescales., • Strong understanding of UK fleet operations, including company cars, small vans, and associated policies, compliance, and logistics would be ideal., • Experience working with or implementing fleet management systems and related data/process integrations., • Demonstrable ability to plan, monitor, and deliver against milestones, KPIs, and project outcomes., • Excellent project management skills – structured, organised, and delivery-focused., • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust, influence, and manage resistance to change., • Skilled at balancing empathy with determination to achieve business objectives., • Competence in analysing data and using insight to inform decisions and track progress., • Confident in leading meetings, preparing updates, and presenting progress reports to stakeholders., • Results-driven and proactive, with a clear focus on delivery and outcomes., • Pragmatic and adaptable – able to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities., • Emotionally intelligent, able to manage sensitive situations (including potential redundancies) with discretion and fairness., • Collaborative and inclusive, fostering positive engagement across teams., • Professional project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, APM, PMP)., • Previous experience in post-merger or departmental integration projects., • Experience of managing or supporting TUPE processes or workforce restructuring., • Familiarity with leading UK fleet systems (e.g. Jaama Key2)., • Experience in a commercial or operational fleet management environment (public or private sector).
