Fortem Solutions have ambitious growth plans resulting in creation of 2 Site Manager positions for this potential new contract, as Site Manager you will be delivering Capital Works and Retrofit social housing refurbishment programmes. This is a permanent role which ideally attracts individuals commutable to the Hertfordshire region. The Site Manager will successfully manage project teams and works partners, to deliver compliant capital & retrofit works to the required quality standards, specification, budget and within agreed timescales. Ideally, the Site Manager will have demonstrable experience in a similar role undertaking Capital Works and Retrofit refurbishment projects. This will be working within our Southern Projects division. The first project will be a retrofit programme in Hertfordshire for delivery of energy efficiency and thermal performance improvements to low and mid-rise residential blocks, as well as heating system upgrades to street properties. Scope includes external and cavity wall insulation, window upgrades, ventilation, low-carbon heating and PV solutions, delivered to PAS 2030:2023 and PAS 2035:2023 standards. • Ensure safe, effective and timely delivery of the Retrofit/Construction and external refurbishment projects (e.g. EWI/External Wall Insulation, Cladding, Roofing, doors/windows)., • Lead and manage a team of direct and sub-contracted Construction and Trades staff., • Reporting into the Project Manager you will have direct responsibility for operational Site Management, • To lead, assess and be responsible for all retrofit/construction works with the Projects, • Ensure that Company Health & Safety Policies and procedures are strictly adhered to and work closely with Health & Safety Managers and Advisor's, • Maintain and produce, on request, up-to-date Health & Safety records, • Ensure all Environmental and Waste Management Policies are adhered to, • Ensure that all staff, sub-contractors and visitors to the site are appropriately inducted, • Fully comply with the Company’s Customer Satisfaction Policy and Procedures, • Ensure all directly employed personnel work within the required specification and adhere to general Company Policies, • Ensure that procedures and controls laid down by the Company are fully implemented by all site personnel, • Motivate, support and manage directly employed site staff.
