EYFS Teaching Assistant – Full-Time Position Location: Widnes, WA8 Start Date: May 2026 Contract: Full-time, long-term (with opportunity to become permanent) Salary: £14.25 - £15 per hour (depending on experience) About the School We are working in partnership with a welcoming Church of England primary school in Widnes. The Role – EYFS Teaching Assistant We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring EYFS Teaching Assistant to support children in Reception. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting pupils with early phonics, language development, and numeracy Assisting with child-led and play-based learning Leading small groups and providing 1:1 support where needed Supporting the class teacher with planning, preparation, and assessments Helping maintain an engaging, safe, and inclusive learning environment Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about Early Years education and child development.
