They’re seeking an experienced EIA Consultant to join their growing Cardiff team. This role offers a unique mix of technical work, project coordination, client engagement and mentoring junior staff. What You’ll Be Doing • Coordinating and contributing to Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) for a variety of projects., • Writing and reviewing technical reports and appendices on environmental assessments., • Liaising with clients, statutory bodies, and stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant project delivery., • Conducting or supporting field surveys and interpreting technical data., • Supporting or leading project management to ensure scopes, budgets, and timelines are met., • Delegating tasks and providing guidance to junior team members. About You • 3–10 years’ experience in EIA consultancy., • Comfortable managing your own projects and contributing to multi-disciplinary teams., • Able to produce clear, concise technical reports and assess environmental risks., • Experienced in engaging with clients and regulatory authorities., • Confident mentoring or delegating to junior colleagues., • Bonus: Experience with renewable energy or infrastructure projects. Preferred Backgrounds: • Environmental science, ecology, geology, hydrology, or civil engineering., • Knowledge of EIA processes and regulatory requirements., • Not suitable: Acoustics or air quality-focused candidates.
