We are looking for a Systems and Datacenter Operator to join our team for a multinational leader in the insurance sector. 📌Key Responsibilities: • Systems monitoring and management., • Observing monitoring consoles and event-driven alerts., • Coordinating with vendors for technical support., • Calling on expert on-call staff to resolve incidents., • Taking first-line corrective action on administrative systems., • Running and monitoring traditional batch schedules using tools such as Control-M or Visualcron., • Executing weekend release scripts for production deployments., • Physical management of bulk printing., • Supporting datacentre operations (e.g. power-down weekends, system availability testing, patrols)., • Maintaining security procedures and access logs., • Updating operations procedures and generating reports (daily, weekly, monthly)., • Analysing and resolving production problems and incidents. 💡Skills: Essential: • Proven background in IT operations., • Ability to work independently and within small teams., • Self-motivated and solution-oriented mindset., • Focus on service quality and operational excellence., • Experience with job scheduling tools (Control-M, Visualcron)., • Good understanding of Linux/UNIX commands and basic Oracle database knowledge., • Understanding of ITIL fundamentals., • Experience in batch processing and job scheduling., • Knowledge of JCL and Korn shell scripting., • Experience with Microfocus environments. 👉 Job Conditions & Benefits: • 📜 B2B contract, • 📍 Work mode: Shift-based (12-hour shifts, day/night rotation)., • 💰 Competitive salary (240€ - 260€ per day), • 🎓 Professional Development: Annual training and certification programs.
