As an Accounts & Audit Senior, you’ll be a key member of our Peterborough team, helping deliver a seamless, high-quality service for our varied clientele. You’ll work closely with managers, partners, and clients, taking ownership of your work while supporting the development of junior colleagues. • Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, charities and limited companies, • Prepare independent examinations for charity clients to be signed off by Partner, • Assist manager with client audit function, • Assist in the preparation of cash flows, • Liaise with clients to resolve any queries, • Complete all assignments within the allocated budget and on time, • Produce draft computations for clients, • Produce year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies in accordance with the relevant accounting standards, • Review work undertaken by junior staff, • Provide assistance in the development of junior staff, • Prepare schedules for Tax returns, • Complete VAT returns, • Ability to work as part of a team, yet also work using own initiative when required., • Strong IT skills and familiarity with accounts and/or audit software., • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail, • Ability to manage your own workload and work effectively as part of a team, • Willingness to travel to clients and other offices as required, • Highly organised, proactive, and committed to delivering quality work, • ACA/ACCA/ACA CTA qualified or prepared to work towards, • General Practice experience, • Genuine care in building lasting bonds with clients and colleagues, treating every interaction with respect and integrity., • Inquisitive mindset, always seeking smarter, more efficient ways to work — demonstrating the value of always moving forward., • Pride in taking ownership of work, no matter how small the task, and commitment to delivering to the highest standards., • Collaborative spirit, thriving in a supportive team environment and eager to share knowledge to achieve shared goals., • Strong drive for growth and development, with enthusiasm to learn and progress through ACA/ACCA/ACA CTA qualifications., • Proactive and adaptable approach, able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail., • Clear and confident communicator, able to explain financial information effectively and build trust with clients and colleagues., • Positive and resilient attitude, viewing challenges as opportunities to learn and improve., • The opportunity to be part of a collaborative and progressive team., • 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays., • Workplace pension, • Employee benefits scheme offering discounts from hundreds of retailers., • Life assurance., • Access to an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)., • Full support towards your professional qualifications, including tuition, study materials and exam fees, • Paid study leave and exam support This is an hybrid based role, full time 38.75 hours per week. #J-18808-Ljbffr
