You will be responsible for ensuring safe, effective, compassionate care within a dynamic environment supporting women with Personality Disorder, Mental Illness, and Mild to Moderate Learning Disabilities. Working closely with the MDT and senior clinical leadership, you will drive high standards of practice, operational excellence, and patient‑centred care — all within a service grounded in recovery, dignity, empowerment, and continuity of care. Key Responsibilities 🌟 Leadership & Clinical Excellence • Provide visible, confident leadership to the nursing team, ensuring high‑quality care at all times., • Oversee day‑to‑day ward operations, ensuring internal and external compliance is met., • Build therapeutic, trauma‑informed relationships that support meaningful engagement., • Contribute to assessments, risk formulations, and individualised care plans., • Work collaboratively with psychologists, OTs, psychiatrists, social workers, and therapy teams to deliver holistic treatment., • Mentor and support student nurses, junior staff, and new starters., • Promote continuous learning, wellbeing, and development within the nursing team., • Foster a positive, supportive culture aligned with organisational values. Essential Qualifications • 1st Level Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)., • Experience in an inpatient mental health setting., • Experience leading teams and responding to service needs., • Strong leadership and managerial capability., • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills., • Confident in dealing with conflict and supporting teams through challenges., • Highly organised with strong time‑management and problem‑solving abilities., • Evidence of service‑improvement mindset., • Ability to act as a positive role model, reflecting core values of compassion, respect, empowerment, and professionalism.
