They are now seeking anexperienced and passionate Registered Managerto lead a residential childrens home inStoke-on-Trent. About the Role AsRegistered Manager, you will lead and develop the residential home, ensuring the delivery ofhigh-quality, child-centred carein line with relevant legislation and the homes Statement of Purpose. You will providemotivational leadership to the team, ensuring children and young people receive consistent, therapeutic care that promotes safety, stability, and positive development. This role isMonday to Friday, 9am 5pm, with participation in theon-call rotaand occasional overnight cover when required. Key Responsibilities • Manage the day-to-day operations of the childrens residential home in line with relevant legislation and regulations., • Ensure the home providessafe, nurturing, and high-quality carethat promotes positive outcomes for young people., • Lead, motivate, and support staff to deliver exceptional care and maintain professional standards., • Develop and implement aservice development planto drive continuous improvement., • Safeguard and promote the rights, wellbeing, and development of children and young people., • Oversee care planning and ensure young peoples needs are regularly assessed and reviewed., • Manage rotas to ensure appropriate staffing levels and continuity of care., • Work collaboratively withmulti-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and commissioning authorities., • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance withregulatory and inspection requirements., • Promote positive relationships between staff, young people, and their families., • Maintain the home environment to high safety and quality standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate: • Strong leadership experience within a childrens residential home setting., • Sound knowledge ofsafeguarding practices and the Children Act 1989., • Excellent understanding ofChildrens Homes Regulations 2015 and Care Standards Act 2000., • The ability to lead teams and create a positive, therapeutic culture., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing., • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young Peoples Services(or working towards)., • Competitive salary of up to£65,000, • Generous annual leave, • Access toemployee wellbeing programme
